Back from Bangkok.
This was the second time I went to BKK for holidays. Still remember when I went to bkk the first time, didn't know anything about it, so everything was guided by my friends. But this year, I have learnt more about bkk so even if I were to shop alone, I simply don't mind or scared at all. Taxi and Train are almost within my sight. Not a problem at all. Last year didn't explore must but this year I return with ton of bags.
Seriously 5 days 4 night don't seen to be enough for me. My wish was to stay at least 7days or even 10 days.
Bkk is not just shopping, shopping & shopping...there are more to do then shopping, like clubbing and visiting their recreation.
1st day - We arrive at Twin Tower Hotel at about 12 plus. They told us the rooms are not ready till 230pm. Maybe because their check-out time is 12p.m and we had book 5 rooms and request those rooms to be on the same level. It's okie then, we put our baggages for the bellboy to look after and went to the first shopping destination, Chatuchak! This is a weekend Market and we arrived on sunday, so the first stop have to be Chatuchak Martket. The place is very big, crowded, hot and stuffy. Didn't really buy things from there, only 2 tees, 2 belts and a pair of slipper. Everyone was tired because our flight is very early in the morning. Spent one whole day there. It was 6 pm and we decide to meet up with the rest and cab back to hotel. But little did we expect to be stranded here for an hour. We didn't get the hotel card which contain impt info. No CABS want to fetch us, either too far or they don know how to drive there. Not wasting anymore time, I told my friends to go to MBK first then back to hotel. When we got in the cab and told him MBK, straight away he know where it is. Our hotel is quite near to MBK by the way.
Finally reach back to hotel, settle down everything, rest for while and went down for Japanese Ramen. Not too bad! After dinner, the rest went back to hotel to rest and left Syl, Jas, Theng, Garldine, Boon & Me for night market walk at PaPong, Silom area there. They have lots of display stuff for home decor. I brought 3 set of oriental lamp for 450 bt, which initially cost 250bt. I brought a dress for my cousin too. This Lady want to cheat me. She say the dress cost 2500 bt, I say no and told her my badget was 500bt. She say no and when i just wanted to leave, she pull my arms and sold me at 500bt. =) BIG SMILE. Went back hotel and rest after that.
I gave 4/10 for day 1 shopping area.
2nd day - Went to SIAM (fav!!) Siam have always been the best shopping area for me. Most of my things area from that area. Siam Paragon, Siam Center, Siam Discovery and Siam Square. The least expected that happen, I bump into Sheng Ming and his friends.
Siam Paragon - Just like S'pore 's Paragon, all those famous expensive branded stuff are in this mall. I perfer their 1st level, lots of delicious food can be found there.
Siam Center - Local Design and street wear stuff can be found there. Brought 3 item at playhound and 2 item from GPS, they are having SALE!
Siam Discovery - Some branded boutique, not much to see too. Brought a AX cap from there.
Siam Square - This is the the best! Brought lots of stuff here. Lots of things to explore.
Dinner - steamboat at COCA at Siam area.
3rd day - Platinum wholesale Shopping mall. ( Girls Paradise )
For guys, cross opps and lot of tees and shirt to be found.
Around evening, walk to Central World. As Big as Vivo. First thing we saw was they having the sale bazzar. Various brand such as Izzus & 5 cm brands from Hongkong. Miss sixty, Energize and so on....
Dinner - Japanese food!!. Name of the Restaurant, "Zen" .
Back to hotel for some Games and drinks.
4th day - Free day. The group spit to various area to get what they missed.
Meet at 6 pm at MBK for sharkfin dinner.
Went back for some rest cause Im bringing them to Zeeb! A R&B club at Ratchada, Rama 4 road. There is a shopping mall called Esplanade Ciniplex. Opps of it will be the clubs area. Hollywood is a tourist club, so they charge very ex. ZEEB is the best!
5th day - Time to Pack things and check out the hotel's room. Still left 4 hrs before the mini bus drive us to airport. went for a fast shopping and byebye bangkok.
